If you were to die today, are you 100% sure that you would go to Heaven?
- We have all sinned:
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” – Romans 3:23
God’s Word reminds us that we all have sinned. The word sin means to miss the mark or come short of perfection, by disobeying God. At one time or another, we have all chosen to disobey God.
- Sin has a penalty:
“For the wages {payment} of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23
The payment for your sin is death and separation from God in a place the Bible calls Hell. This is the fate of every person who has not believed in Jesus Christ as Saviour.
“…he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” – John 3:36
- Jesus Paid the Penalty:
“But God commendeth {proved} his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8
His death on the cross was the full payment for your sin. Not only did Jesus Christ die on the cross for you, but He was buried and rose again three days later.
“And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” – 1 Corinthians 15:4
- Believe on Jesus Today:
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” – Romans 10:9
To believe on Jesus Christ as Saviour means to have faith that He died for you, paid the price for your sin, and is the only way to Heaven. You can express your faith and trust in Jesus through prayer.
- Pray Sincerely…
“Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner and I deserve Hell. I believe you died on the cross, paid the penalty for my sin, and arose from the dead three days later. I am placing my faith and trust in you alone to forgive my sin and give me the free gift of eternal life. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.”
